Ruth Study - Fall 2020

Something New!

Hey friends!  I'm here to let you know that this Fall, Crossridge Women's Classes are excited to embark on a new study of the book of Ruth.  This is a 5 week study stretched out over 10 weeks with many options for getting involved.  Some of you are meeting for small group discussion and teaching in person and many others are joining in thanks to zoom!  Others of you are working independently through the study guide and following along with the teaching at your own pace.  And we're really excited that this Fall we have over 22 Senior High Youth Women joining into our studies along with their youth leaders!

Our Study

This study follows the critical or inductive method of study, working through Ruth one chapter at a time and following a similar framework each week of digging into the text itself.  At the end of each week is a guided reflection that is more devotional in nature, aimed at moving what begins as head knowledge of the bible to a deeper kind of heart knowledge that forms our faith and relationship with God.

Our Heart

It has been an interesting time of trying to figure out how to do our Classes in this new normal the world is experiencing.  It's a steep learning curve, but we're thankful for those of you are committed to ride it out with us!  We have always strived to be a place of intergenerational study where women of all ages and stages come together around God's Word.  That's never been more apparent in our classes than this year and we are so grateful to the Lord for not abandoning the work of His hand.  However you come to this study of Ruth - Welcome!  We're so happy to have you along with us.
